ASME A17.2, 2012 Edition – Guide for Inspection of Elevators, Escalators, and Moving Walks

This 2012 edition provides updated cross-references and additional guidelines to coordinate with A17.1-2007. It also features new guidelines on machine room-less (MRL) configurations and inclined elevators, while adding a non-mandatory Appendix Checklist for Firefighters’ Service of Automatic Elevators.

A17.2 is to be used in conjunction with other volumes of ASME’s A17 series of Safety Codes.
